# SOCIALwrite

> SOCIALwrite (socialwrite.it) is a free Italian social network for people who write and people who read. Authors publish long-form texts split into chapters, readers follow them and comment chapter by chapter while the work is still being written. Free to use, now and in the future.

Key facts:

- The site, its texts and its interface are in Italian.
- Texts ("testi") are organised in chapters that the author can reorder at any time. Each text belongs to one genre.
- Each chapter is either public or private. A private chapter is readable only by people the author approves after a read request.
- Readers comment and like chapters, follow authors, save texts to a personal library and see new chapters and posts from people they follow in their "Readroom" feed.
- Reading is free and needs no account: book pages, genre pages, public chapters and author profiles (books and bio) are open to everyone. A free account is needed to comment, like, follow and write; search, the feed and posts on profiles are for signed-in members.
- Chapters of texts marked 18+ show an age notice to visitors without an account and are not indexed.
- Run by Bajara (P.IVA 03013870351), Via Sandro Pertini 25, 42017 Novellara (RE), Italy. Contact: info@socialwrite.it.
